Barkan Platinum Cabernet Sauvignon is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Alma and Dalton vineyards in Israel's Upper Galilee, Certified Kosher (KPM), making it a serious choice for a Holiday table or a milestone Anniversary toast.
Tasting Experience: dark fruit, spice and firm structure
Impressive dark fruit leads the glass, with black cherry and blackberry framed by savoury herb, tobacco, oak spice and earth tones. Dry at 3 g/L sugar and 13.5% ABV, this Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied and firm, the result of roughly 18 months of barrel aging before release.

Serving Tips: temperature, decanting and glassware
Serve at 16 to 18°C. Decant for 30 to 60 minutes to let the dark fruit and oak spice open up, and pour into a Bordeaux glass to showcase its structure and firm tannins. This wine is built to evolve for 15 to 20 years from vintage with proper cellar storage.

Barkan is one of Israel's largest and most awarded wineries, drawing fruit from cool climate vineyards across the country. The Platinum series is the winery's flagship tier, sourced from the Alma and Dalton vineyards high in the Upper Galilee, where cooler nights and diverse soils slow ripening and concentrate flavour. Each barrel is aged roughly 18 months before release, giving the wine its signature depth and firm tannic backbone.
