This Cabernet from Veneto is sourced from deep clay soils with a high fossil content and offers insight into the breadth of styles in which Cabernet is produced. It displays the balance, firm tannins, dark fruit and cassis that define Cabernet the world over but is lither and more approachable than many examples from Napa or even Bordeaux. Pair with braised meat or mushroom burgers.
