The 2019 Chardonnay Gran Reserva Carolina from Itata was aged in 15% new barrels and foudres for a year. Greenish yellow in the glass. The subdued aromas include tropical hints of pine, a little oak and a hint of hazelnut before the wood takes over entirely. Sugary with a fresh expression, it's creamy in the mouth, with good volume. Drinking window: 2022-2025.
