Moscato is a kind of wine specifically made from muscat grapes. The wine has a gentle spritz and delicate bubbles that give it a refreshing touch. Pink Moscato is a pink wine that portrays notes of fresh, fruity, and floral aroma with a hint of musk and sherbet.
Banrock Station Pink Moscato is one of the inexpensive sweet wines with some additional layers of fruit aromas and flavors. Its pink ruby color often confused it with rosé wines but it is not an actual rosé wine.
Pink Moscato is a sweet dessert wine that is obtained by adding a small amount of Merlot or some grape variety to White Moscato wine. It is a sweet wine but it has lower alcohol level and a refreshing flavor that make it more than just a dessert wine.
The wine is lower in alcohol than other sparkling wines and is also known for its sweet flavors of orange blossom, peaches, and a touch of strawberry. The sweetness of the pink wine is balanced with a finish of fresh acidity. It leaves a delicate fairy floss character with red grapefruit spice on the palate.
Foods to serve with Pink Moscato Rosé
Pink Moscato makes an ideal pair with fruit desserts, fruit cakes, and sweet pastries. The sweet flavor of wine also gives a good end to a savory meal.
